What could be more fabulous than taking up the challenge set by this sublime land and patiently taking the necessary time to achieve high quality and recognition? What a privilege it is to be able to restore this growth to its former glory, beauty and value!

Since 2005, expert care has been lavished on the estate to ensure that the château’s wines attain the highest levels of quality.

The new vineyard management team has adopted an approach comprising precision work underpinned by savoir-faire. Meticulous attention to detail has become the order of the day. The relatively small size of the estate allows this precision work to be implemented manually in the vineyard, while in the new vat room and cellars the latest high-performing equipment has been added.

Although constantly focussing on the excellence and typicity of the estate’s terroir, Justin Onclin is also eager for visitors to discover the estate’s facilities as a whole. Spacious areas to welcome and receive people make up a part of the château, while a separate tasting room complements the wine production areas. The estate’s subterranean heritage, with its huge galleries cut out of the rock, are unique and can be visited during a son et lumière tour in which the story of the quarries is told against the backdrop of a special stage set.

So while Villemaurine has been growing in stature as a great growth, it has at the same time turned into a venue offering an experience that catches the imagination and thrills the senses.
