Château Villemaurine invites you to experience its most exclusive visit, designed for guests seeking a truly private and in-depth discovery of the estate.
This privileged tour offers full access to the estate’s underground world, including the entirety of its historic limestone quarries and monolithic cellar. You will explore the full scale of this remarkable underground network, a unique testimony to the history and identity of Saint-Émilion.
From the vineyard on the limestone plateau to the depths of the cellar, this private experience reveals Château Villemaurine in its most authentic and confidential form.
The visit concludes in the privacy of the château with a guided tasting of three wines, including two Saint-Émilion Grands Crus Classés, accompanied by a 100% artisanal dark chocolate pairing carefully selected to enhance each wine.
Should you wish to modify the chocolate pairing, this is possible upon request made at least 48 hours in advance by email. An additional charge will apply and must be settled on the day of the visit.
This moment takes place in a private room within Château Villemaurine, offering an intimate and refined tasting experience.

In case of late arrival, the tour may be adjusted. Beyond 20 minutes, the visit may be shortened or cancelled depending on availability, particularly during high season.

Set on an exceptional 18-acre terroir on the limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion, the estate reveals its unique identity, combining history, geology, and winemaking expertise.
The experience
This guided tour (approximately 1h to 1h15) includes:
Vineyard discovery on the Saint-Émilion plateau
Visit of the winemaking facilities
Access to a section of the historic underground limestone quarries, including our monolithic cellar
Exploration of the cellar where our wines are aged
From vineyard to cellar, this experience offers a clear and engaging insight into the estate’s work and its exceptional terroir.
The visit concludes with a tasting of two wines, including one Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé, offering an elegant introduction to Château Villemaurine’s style.

This visit is available by appointment only.
We reserve the right to modify the itinerary in case of late arrival.
Children must remain calm and respectful during the visit.

- No visitor parking is available on site
- Parking at La Villa des Vignes hotel is strictly reserved for hotel guests
- The estate is closed every Wednesday throughout the year
- During low season (December to mid-April), the estate is also closed on Sundays
